There is no honest way to reverse engineer scientific findings into the bible (or the kerrang etc). At some point - sooner rather than later - you are forced to press the emergency eject button marked "magic".

Indeed. I can retrofit anything to anything else, if I'm allowed to use whatever warped reasoning I want to.

It's like the time that someone (I forget who) managed to identify Moses as Middlebury, by using the complex and arcane scientific formula of removing the -oses and substituting the -iddlebury.
