I was just watching a documentary on the sick fuck, not that Stalin was any  better. But I did not know before Hitler invaded Poland he had signed a non aggression pact with Russia/Stalin, only to later stupidly try to invade Russia. It's a good thing assholes are stupid.

... You didn't know about the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact? And the subsequent invasion of the USSR which ended up being a crucial factor (if not THE crucial factor) in ensuring that Hitler would lose? And sooner rather than later?

I was just watching a documentary on the Nuremberg trials. Albert Speer was the only one to really admit the most responsibility. But who knows if that was really just to avoid a death sentence, which he did.

Hermann Goring was a defiant fuck, basically justifying "might makes right", and the fucking asshole brought up American history claiming America took California from the Mexicans. Missing the point that two wrongs don't make a right. Hermann had the fucking nerve to claim that he knew nothing of the concentration camps and neither did Hitler. Speer turned on him during the trial. 

Coward masturbated over Hitler basically taking the attitude that death was far better than defeat, all the while Hitler committed suicide which is what Hermann did too before facing a hanging by taking a suicide pill.

I've read quite a bit about Speer, and it's kind of hard to say how much of his post-war behaviour was due to cowardice or due to honest-to-Jah regret. He did seem to minimise how much he knew about the Holocaust (it seems he knew just enough to know he didn't want to know anything more), but at one point, he said "If I didn't see it, then it was because I didn't want to see it." Then again, when he wrote his books about his experiences, he gave the royalties to Jewish charities, sometimes, as high as 80% of those royalty checks (anonymously, I may add, so nobody can boast and nobody's likely to turn down his money.)

To be totally honest, I don't know if Speer really was remoseful, but if there is ANYTHING else that one can reasonably ask him to do, short of swallowing one of those tablets of Zyklon B in the gas chambers in Birkenau, consent to have Elie Wiesel and Primo Levi toss his corpse into a furnace, and turn the remains into soap (admittedly, not a very reasonable thing to expect anyone to do), I can't imagine it.
