Is cover-up of rape cases/sexual abuse lying for Jesus?
I liked the parts where these old yahoodies tolchock each other and then drink their Hebrew vino, and getting onto the bed with their wives' handmaidens.

No, they're despicable acts committed by despicable bastards Jeebus doesn't come into it.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

RE: Lying
It's especially holy if it makes the Church rich like the (doubly) fabricated tithing doctrine. Once fabricated because the whole book is made up, Twice because it never commands anyone to tithe any money, and certainly not Christians.

For some reason, even though all those laws, like the ones they say you have to bathe 25 times if you touch a dead person, or if something nasty comes out of your pee pee, don't make it past Jeebus sacrifice. But change a bunch of words like tithing money instead of food, and that totally does. It's just a coincidence that it lets your local pastor live in a nicer house than you and have more stuff.

RE: Lying
And by lying, I assume we don't mean spreading opinions that they really believe are true, but are just factually incorrect .Being wrong isn't the same thing as lying. It's the actual lies, deceptions like concealing the particulars of a 'Good News Club' at a public school so parents won't have an issue signing their child's permission slip, pretending to befriend someone when all you want from them is conversion, and keeping you mouth shut when you hear your minister say something you know is misleading (maybe because you were reading along in your Bible and read the verse after the one where he stopped). Then there's the big one: pious fraud. You know there's a leak that's causing the statue of Mary to seem to cry, but you worry it might hurt people's faith if you point out that it isn't miraculous weeping.

If your religion is true, and you know it's true, your instinct ought to be to never lie, particularly when it comes to religious matters.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Humans do. It sounds harsh to believers to call their hero a dictator, but I didn't create that word. It was around long before I was born.

Their book uses the words King, Kingdom, and Lord. Why? Because that is what humans lived under in antiquity, ruling families, and your duty wasn't to facts back then, but to loyalty to your local tribe.

Even in the polytheism of Ancient Rome and Greece, which we falsely consider the seat of modern democracy, were STILL ruled by ruling families.

Both polytheists and monotheists back then lived under ruling families. One can only argue, with any nation's history, in antiquity, that some ruling families were more cruel or less cruel, but they were still the top power not subject to checks on power.
