Sure.  Punch every bishop/archbishop/cardinal and pope right in the fucking mouth.  They are all either guilty themselves or stood by silently while others did.  Let's hear the old pervert bastards rattle on about fucking jesus while nursing broken jaws.

To show how deep in the shit the rcc is, there is only one exception to Min's general rule above, Diarmuid Martin, archbish of Dublin. He's the only one in the church doing anything other than hiding the crimes or the criminals.

Quote:Vatican whistle-blower renews attacks on Pope Francis over disgraced cardinal as crisis in Catholic Church deepens

Quote:A Vatican whistle-blower who has accused Pope Francis of having covered up sexually abusive behaviour by an American cardinal stepped up his attack on Wednesday, speaking from a secret location.
Archbishop Carlo Mario Vigano, a former Vatican ambassador to the US, has plunged the Catholic Church into crisis with allegations that the pope failed to act against Theodore McCarrick, a US cardinal, who was accused of sexually abusing young priests over decades.
Cardinal McCarrick, the former archbishop of Washington, resigned in disgrace last month, becoming the first cardinal to step down since 1927.
Archbishop Vigano, 77, released an 11-page document detailing the allegations at the weekend and called on Francis to resign.
He then went underground amid reports that he feared for his safety.

I wish Pope Francis would say something. The refusal to comment is pretty crappy.

I don't see why he can't just come out and say "Yes, what Vigano said about me is correct. In 2013 I was made aware of the allegations against McCarrick from 50 years ago. Since it all happened so long ago, I believe McCarrick has since changed and decided to give him a chance rather than throwing him away. I stand by that decision. If a person leaves behind their sinful ways, 'who am I to judge?'"

...I don't agree with his decision at all but I would have at least respected him more for the sole reason of being transparent. His silence is disturbing.

See? And then there's this again. "Abused young priests". If they were priests, I'm assuming they were adults? Was it truly abuse or was it consensual sex between a superior and adult subordinates, and they are calling it abuse for that reason? (which is still unacceptable, but not the same level as sexual assault, as Aurora said). Did he know at that time about the allegations concerning an underage alter server, or did he only know about the "young priests and seminarians"??

I would like to know exactly WHAT Pope Francis was told about McCarrick in 2013.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Anyone, anyone at all aware of a schismatic group from the Catholic Church that cited pedophilia as their justification for jumping ship ??

Casts a rather disturbing pall on Protestantism, don't it ??

Maybe even in Italy they are starting to catch on?

Quote:he crowds are quieter than they used to be.

At the Pope's weekly audience in St Peter's Square, tourists and pilgrims barely filled half the piazza. It was easy to get to the front of the crowd to watch Francis go by in his Popemobile.

This probably impacts the merchandise sales!

So typical of these pious catholick shits.

"Yeah, sure, we care.... but not that much!"

Sure.  They can't have that!

"Hit 'em again, hit 'em again, HARDER!   HARDER!!"

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/01/world...ss&emc=rss

Quote:If Cardinal Was Under Pope’s Sanctions, Why Was He Allowed at Gala Events?

Quote:But after Francis became pope, in 2013, he lifted the sanctions and made the cardinal a trusted adviser, the letter claimed. That accusation has stunned the faithful, leaving many clamoring to know whether Pope Francis — who has vowed to rid the church of sexual abuse — had covered up for an abuser or whether Archbishop Viganò, a conservative detractor of Francis’ who was removed from his American post, was lying.
What still remains unclear a week after these accusations surfaced is whether Benedict ever imposed sanctions on the cardinal. And if he was sanctioned but permitted to flout the restrictions so boldly and for so long, it raises questions of how tough the Vatican really is on bishops implicated in sexual abuse.

Seems like they are all full of shit, doesn't it?
