I can't get over the fact that you moved to Seattle after a suggestion by Min lol. Sounds like it worked out well for you.
Sorta shows that what you say to strangers online sometimes lands and makes a difference.

No, no.  I had a co-worker who transferred to Seattle and about six months later he called in and told us all on the speaker phone that in Seattle "people don't tan, they rust."

This is true. It rarely really rains very hard, but most of the time it's drizzling or sprinkling between September-June. I love it, personally.
