When I first got it my neighbor said that I'd last about one year and then cave in and get a gas powered mower. My husband was skeptical. But wow, is it a great workout! Keeps me in shape and it's good for my bones plus it's environmentally much better than gas or electric. Amen! I have a 118 inch reel mower. It never breaks down, it never needs gas. Plus, The Wife sits on the porch with a drink and pervs out while I push it around the lawn.

Yup. Weighs more than I do. Supposed to hitch and drag it, lol.

He was helling it. Clippings were going ten feet in the air. He was working at a sod farm, he had a LOT of grass to cut.
I know someone with a puss mower. Does that count?

I, for one, welcome our new Triffid overlords.

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
I keep mine so short you can almost see the metaphysical substrate.

One of my sons went and watched that campy-assed movie- "Day of the Triffids". He was quite amused. Now, when one of those tall weeds appear, he goes over and shakes it, making a noise like the plants made in the movie. I pretty much keep them under control, but I'm not the gardener, the wife is. The neighbor on the east's yard is full of those things.
