Everything is up and running. I had to reinstall Windows. Apparently you have to configure and initialize RAID drives before you install Windows in order for Windows to recognize them if the RAID array is configured with anything Other than Windows. I had read that earlier, but was hoping one of the workarounds would help, but apparently not.

That's bizarre. Really, that sucks. I don't think it was that way in Windows 7. Bizarre.

That's bizarre.  Really, that sucks.  I don't think it was that way in Windows 7.  Bizarre.

It really is, but apparently if Windows doesn't load at least some 3rd party raid drivers during the install process they don't work properly if you load them later.

I'm pretty sure installing Windows didn't take you a week, right? Big Grin

It was once this way even with SATA drives.  Now, though, I have a burning need to know why this is true.
