What if God Evolved

But we need to be cautious in our understanding of God, he is far beyond all we can know or think. The bible does not say how God came to exist so we are free to assume anything and not be at fault. I don't believe that WE EVOLVED as there is no fossil evidence to support animal or human evolution, especially none for animals. If you don't believe me name all the transitional forms you know for animals. I believe God made us and animals, plants etc. I don't care if God evolved or has always existed. I do know God exists due to personal experiences with Him.

Quote:Evolution is not a debatable issue- it clearly happened, or we wouldn't have fossils of animals which no longer exist. If you refuse to accept this point, in the face of overwhelming evidence

The list you gave me does not convince me. The fish list looks convincing, however, it can be explained as variation with in a kind. We have hourses of various shapes and sizes today, or dogs that look slightly different but they are not evolving. Particulary laughable is the evolution of whales ... a lizard becomes a whale. There would need to be a far greater volume of examples to make it a fact. It is not a fact.

Why dont you ask a scientist who work with these things he will probably convince you. Since you have not learn anyhting in school do you also need some education too.

RE: What if God Evolved
Why don't you ask God if evolution is true or not as you seem to have a direct line.

But seriously, what is it with people like you and evolution? Even the Catholic Church accepts it, so why can't you.

Next you'll be telling us that Adam and Eve were real or there really was a global flood or Jonah really did live in a huge fish.

And you call us delusional!

Evolution is a fact whether you like it or not. It is a testable and falsifiable theory that has stood up to everything asked of it.

Creationism on the other hand has failed. One of it's predictions is that the Earth is 6 to 10 thousand years old. This has been proved FALSE.

Another is that all species shared the Earth at the same time. i.e. Dinosaurs with Humans with Trilobites. Again, FALSE!

You may as well be trying to convince us that the Earth is flat or the Sun goes around the Earth for all the difference it makes.

Darwinian, though I agree with most of what you said, please keep in mind there is a difference between Young Earth Creationists and Old Earth Creationists. Not all creationists claim the earth is 6000 to 10000 years old.

RE: What if God Evolved
Probably, but we should not give any ammo by overgeneralizing.
