I watch the show with my nephews it's pretty good though i note the quality kind of went down later

I couldn't find square characters to be appealing at all..

Arab kids loved the show, and there was a translation in Arabic. But the protagonist is square, which made it hard for me to enjoy with children.
There was a school bag though that went viral in here and the kids loved it; it was carrying the drawing of the square yellow bob.

Kids in the past watched The Simpsons and Arab kids used to watch serious Anime cartoons, and now it's a square sponge and its shrimp friend.
