I have never been there but I concur.

I spent 6 years in the U.S. territory of Guam and 14 years in the Florida keys.

Trust somebody who has been there: Paradise gets boring after awhile for all but the simple-minded. Laying naked on a bamboo lounge chair while hot members of the opposite sex fan you with palm fronds and feed you grapes is great for a little while but human intellect needs more.

No, I haven't really been in the situation I described above but in the ballpark.

REALLY, we need more. The problem is that most of us NEVER get to experience paradise for awhile. It's good stuff and I'm glad I got to experience some of it but it's a dead-end as a life style. You will atrophy and decay if you spend too long in that environment.

I'm afraid the price of intellect is that we need something to strive for, to have a sense of purpose. Without that, we decay and die.

Paradise is great but don't stay there for too long a time.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
