There's a belief that you'll be punished in grave. In turkish we call it "Kabir Azabı" (chastisement of grave). But it's told here as this won't be a physical punishment but more of a psychological one.
And I must add this guy is stupid even Islamists standarts.
edit: I made a quick research and it seems, there's no mention of this in Quran. But there are some hadith which are contradicting each other.

You can laugh all you want now but later you won't be laughing when you're brought back to life again ...
There's no strong textual evidence for the snakes and scorpions in the grave, though. I'm doubtful about that because that's not mentioned in the Quran.
