This is a discussion forum. If you feel offended, injured or insulted by the mere expression a well thought out logical opinion, why even partake is such discussions? Why not retreat completely into your warm, cozy and comfortable "faith" ? ? ?

...Um, okay...did you read my post, or just my religious status? I said that I do not feel offended or insulted when someone hurls these things at me. The rest of my post was directed at the general attitude of 'I wish to see everything as offensive!' that pervades humanity.

Umm, actually you can. It's a powerful way of making people think,it's called 'satire'. The basis of satire is exaggeration and use of the Platonic method of 'reductio ad absurdum. Satire can be deliberately, grossly offensive.

You should reread my post. I said attacking the religion itself is fine, but attacking the theist is not.

Also, saying someone is a fucking retard for believing what they believe...is not really a refined platonic argumentative tactic...
