Religious twits at sporting events

Religious twits at sporting events
I was watching the football playoffs over the weekend and several times I noticed boneheads in the crowd holding up "JOHN 3:16" signs. This was particularly evident at one of the games where some idiot had a seat behind the end zone. Every time there was an extra point or field goal attempt this dope was holding up his sign so it would be seen on TV.

This kind of thing really irritates me. I'd love to find out where these shitheads go to church and then show up at their Sunday service so I could scream J-E-T-S! JETS! JETS! JETS! during the service.

No one wants to see your stupid religious bullshit at a football stadium any more than you want me to yell sports chants at your church.

Does it bug anyone else when these dingbats show up at sporting events holding up their idiotic signs?
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.

God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?

No, but then I don't go to sporting events! Big Grin

Anyway, you could perhaps throw something at them if they're in the front of you.

Victories are only possible through god.

Which might mean, in some cases, that god was okay with Michael Vick. Food for thought.

Oh, believe me, I would! Especially if their idiotic sign was blocking my view!

I can't see that this...

Quote:John 3:16 (New International Version, ©2010)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

has anything to do with football. The game personally bores me to death but it beats the shit out of religion.

Yeah, that's kind of my point. What does your idiotic religious propaganda have to do with the reason we came to this stadium? Makes me want to go to their church and hold up a sign that says "JETS ARE #1!" during the service. I wonder how they'd react to that?
