I think all Americans should carry guns. Lot's of them. They need them! To protect themselves from Americans who also have lots of guns!

good luck with your knife ban douche bags.

Hey, c*ck-muppet  - just FYI - knives have been mostly banned in the UK for decades. It's fine.  Read

https://www.gov.uk/buying-carrying-knives
Quote:Basic laws on knives
It’s illegal to:
  • sell a knife to anyone under 18, unless it has a folding blade 3 inches long (7.62 cm) or less

  • carry a knife in public without good reason, unless it has a folding blade with a cutting edge 3 inches long or less

  • carry, buy or sell any type of banned knife

  • use any knife in a threatening way (even a legal knife)
Scotland
In Scotland, 16 to 18 year olds are allowed to buy cutlery and kitchen knives.
Lock knives
Lock knives are not classed as folding knives and are illegal to carry in public without good reason. Lock knives:
  • have blades that can be locked and refolded only by pressing a button

  • can include multi-tool knives - tools that also contain other devices such as a screwdriver or can opener
Banned knives and weapons
It is illegal to bring into the UK, sell, hire, lend or give anyone the following:
  • butterfly knives (also known as ‘balisongs’) - a blade hidden inside a handle that splits in the middle

  • disguised knives - a blade or sharp point hidden inside what looks like everyday objects such as a buckle, phone, brush or lipstick

  • flick knives (also known as ‘switchblades’ or ‘automatic knives’) - a blade hidden inside a handle which shoots out when a button is pressed

  • gravity knives

  • stealth knives - a knife or spike not made from metal (except when used at home, for food or a toy)

  • zombie knives - a knife with a cutting edge, a serrated edge and images or words suggesting it is used for violence

  • swords, including samurai swords - a curved blade over 50cm (with some exceptions, such as antiques and swords made to traditional methods before 1954)

  • sword-sticks - a hollow walking stick or cane containing a blade

  • push daggers

  • blowpipes (‘blow gun’)

  • telescopic truncheons - extend automatically by pressing button or spring in the handle

  • batons - straight, side-handled or friction-lock truncheons

  • hollow kubotans - a cylinder-shaped keychain holding spikes

  • shurikens (also known as ‘shaken’, ‘death stars’ or ‘throwing stars’)

  • kusari-gama - a sickle attached to a rope, cord or wire

  • kyoketsu-shoge - a hook-knife attached to a rope, cord or wire

  • kusari (or ‘manrikigusari’) - a weight attached to a rope, cord, wire

  • hand or foot-claws

  • knuckledusters
Contact your local police to check if a knife or weapon is illegal.
Good reasons for carrying a knife or weapon
Examples of good reasons to carry a knife or weapon in public can include:
  • taking knives you use at work to and from work

  • taking it to a gallery or museum to be exhibited

  • if it’ll be used for theatre, film, television, historical reenactment or religious purposes, for example the kirpan some Sikhs carry

  • if it’ll be used in a demonstration or to teach someone how to use it
A court will decide if you’ve got a good reason to carry a knife or a weapon if you’re charged with carrying it illegally.

Go peddle your smug, scare-mongering, self-serving bullsh*t in your own country, where kids get mowed down with machine guns in schools on regular basis. Conservative government in UK has been making cuts to the police force, because that's what conservative c*nts do. Reality Check: What has happened to police numbers? But the chances of getting stabbed in the street in UK are smaller than the chances of being killed in a school, or a place of worship in US. So stick that in your orange pipe and smoke it...

You find increased security at airports and better surveillance of potential terrorists to be an errosion [sic] of your personal liberty?  How has your personal liberty been curtailed because of anti-terrorism measures?

Well indoctrinated, ain' t ya?

..

TSA can strip search you, your spouse, your kids - without a search warrant.

They force you to be trackable - you can' t be annonymous by paying cash for a flight - and you might have a good reason to do so.

Want to take grandma a quart of maple syrup- or a jar of honey in your carry on? Nope, not anymore. Apparently - you can now make a bomb out of products made of sugar.

Small shit? Sure.

That's how EROSION works.

Just a little bit at a time.

Well, you could ALWAYS make sugar-based bombs, so that bit's not really relevant.

TSA searches have been legal since the 1970s.  They don't violate the 'unreasonable searches' thing.

And (I had to search this one) yes...you CAN buy a ticket for cash.  Not sure if you'll remain annonymous [sic], though.

Bearing in mind that all of the things that you're objecting to are intended to help prevent terrorist attacks in the US and elsewhere, would you rather that governments had done nothing and allowed maniacal mass-murderers free reign?  What would you suggest as an alternative to these measures?

So the self righteous douche bags in the uk have found the old gun's don't kill people, people kill people to be true obviously. Why? because they have taken the guns away ad now the self righteously smug, still can not stand each other so rather than shot they are stabbing each other to the point legislation is being put fourth to restrict the use and who can carry one...

again knife gun pushed out of a window it all the same it is not the tool that is the problem, people are. It is clear that pop morality can not keep the population in check lke most of you 'good people' thinks it can. therefore you all foolishly think if you remove the tools people can't can not build or wreck what they set out to do? Shame on you for being that naive.

bad people will always exist despite how enlightened you feel you are because you in your mind don't need God. great. now what of the monsters in society who do need God to keep them in check? do you think banning knives will help you? what's next sticks? hammers screw drivers? will you have all windows nail shut above the second floor as well if people start pushing other out of windows?

good luck with your knife ban douche bags.

Who are you calling douche bags you pathetic little excuse for a man. You quite clearly don't know what you are talking about and it's obvious to me that your faith in God has damaged you irreparably.
Why should anyone take your opinion seriously? Someone like you with your silly views on virtually every subject should really learn where and when to air them.
I believe the UK government is introducing many measures to combat knife crime, including many community education programmes. Education and alternatives to gang culture is the key to solving this problem and putting legislation into place to protect people is the sensible approach, and an approach that most reasonable people would welcome.

It's about time you took your head out of your arse and realise that God never has, and never will solve anything.
