So what's next, whitewalker origins or push to Cercei? IDK, There doesn't seem to be enough troops to survive a push on Cercei. Even if the iron islands are populated with enough people that don't support the treacherous uncle, I don't see where they'd get enough. Maybe they won't need it since tyrian knows where all the dragon fire is, maybe a few well placed dragon belches would defeat it from the inside, but what would be left? The smart play would armor the Dragon or at least give Danny some sort of arrow protection. I was really hoping to see Bran hulk out and super worg the dragon or something. Maybe it would have been better if Cercei had gotten those elephants for bran to warg?

With only three episodes left, I doubt there's going to be another battle. If it was me, I'd make Arya sneak in and kill Cercei.

Jaime, Tyrion, Bran, Arya could all get in successfully probably. Strap bombs to crows and have bran drone strike Cercei and blow up the reserves. I think you can blow up kings landing (and hopefully the ships in the harbor) to prevent the need for a battle in half an episode.

So what's next, whitewalker origins or push to Cercei?

There aren't enough episodes left in the series for the main characters to go off "gallivanting" up North, especially, that the writers haven't set up a need for that so far. The Nightking/White Walkers plot is clearly finished, as far as the show is concerned, which means Cersei is the main antagonist of the rest of the season. I don't know if Daenerys and Jon Snow are going to march on King's Landing immediately, but obviously that's what Daenerys came to Westeros to do, not to mention, that Cersei is unlikely to leave them alone, now that they're weakened by the huge battle.

There almost definitely is going to be another battle - though obviously not quite on the same scale as the last episode. Miguel Sapochnik, the same guy, who directed the last episode, as well as "Hardhome" and "Battle of the Bastards" is going to direct the penultimate episode, so that's probably when the last big battle of the show will happen.

If it was me, I'd make Arya sneak in and kill Cercei.

Yeah, I don't think Deus Ex Arya is the best way to finish every remaining plot in "Game Of Thrones". Even though her sneaking abilities are truly extraordinary.

I do think they could have turned up the lights just a bit. There were parts that I couldn't just not see well. I couldn't see at all.

That was ... pretty poorly written lol. Magnificent acting, but... I mean, come on. That was painful to watch.

Worst military strategy ever. Some teenager in his basement playing Total War could've came up with a better one.

Arya sneaking behind undead white walkers and the Night King? Outta nowhere? You gotta understand that, since 1999, book fans have had endless theories about the Others (i.e., their motivation), the prophecy of Azor Ahai, Jon's role as a Targaryen, and Arya just stabs the NK in the stomach and that's it? All nicely and cleanly resolved in one episode? This show is just like any other now (correction: it has been since S5). A mindless evil zombie bent on destroying humanity, nothing more nuanced than that. And Arya just up and stabs the guy. Seriously anticlimactic.

I also can't believe Cersei and fucking Euron are the biggest baddies at the end of the day. "Winter is Coming," now it just came and went and we're done? We good? What?

That being said, the acting was great, and I sincerely felt for all the characters. It was a brutal battle, and I liked it a lot. Yeah, it was a little dark. Just turn up your brightness

You know, I keep hearing people say this a lot, but I don't think this was wrapped up in one episode at all. There have been multiple full-blown battles with the NK and the WW. This was the culmination of everything since literally the first episode. That said, that they never made it south of Winterfell was a little weird. I'd have liked to see the Starks push them to Cersei.
