The chain of trends

As the truth unfolded I found out about the trend, life within these walls can only go one way; it never bends, it leaves holes not meant to heal; never meant to mend.
Life within these walls is made of blocks, segments of trend after trend; an infinite chain of locks meant to end so fast so the next starts, as if it was meant to confuse your mind and heart; to keep you busy from the end to the start.
To defy the trend is to be an outcast without a chance of redemption, not allowed to have your own segment; your own block; your own soul, not being whole you become dependent on the chain of trends; a slave to the chain; a prisoner behind one of them walls.
