As I recall, this was a demonstration by a patent lawyer that a new fast track form of patents were poorly policed rather than a genuine attempt to claim such ownership.

Australia punches well above its weight in terms of innovation, and you can describe this as another inspired idea. As I recall, he drew a picture of a cart, circled a wheel and described it in the application as "circular transportation facilitation device".

I knew a patent lawyer and asked him for his opinion, which was unrepeatable.
