Typical Politician
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer ( D ) talked at the Mackinac Policy Conference on Mackinac Island - about the poor condition of Michigan's roads.

Dodgy

Mackinac Island - the one goddamned place in the state where the roads are PERFECT. (no motorized vehicles allowed on the island.)

No sense of urgency there... Hey - Governor Shitbird --- have that meeting in downtown Detroit - where even the potholes have potholes - and maybe you'll get some inspiration to do something.....

Really picking and choosing there. I'm sure you can find places in America where the water is crystal clear, and great for your health, but Flint still has flammable liquid coming through the pipes.

Good video to watch, if you want to know how common the Jesus story really is.

Isn't a politician a Latin word that translates into lying, conniving, callous, back-stabbing, weasely snake in the grass?

Politics: “Poli” a Latin word meaning "many" and "tics" meaning "bloodsucking creatures".

Knowing almost nothing about Michigan, I am going to make a guess here. Mackinac Island is either a wealthy area or is a resort that brings in lots of tourist dollars and is good PR for the state...or some combination of those things.

If it were BFE, Michigan Whitmer wouldn't give a shit.

It's a State Park. But the hotel there isn't for the frugal. You can see it in the Christopher Reeves movie "Somewhere in Time."

Beautiful place.

Unlike Lansing....

Michigan is pretty special. You have to go south to get to Canada.
