LOL now I can hold this over Brian's head. make a video singing boot scootin boogie or AF will have your head on a pike. Tongue LOL

seriously though, good news. flickr seems to work, but it will take a bit to upload them all and sort them into a few albums so you're not wading through 1000 photos, I can at least sort them out into 5 or so photo albums like steve irwins zoo and brisbane etc. should be ready this evening. gonna eat supper and then finish sorting it out.

should have the link ready later tonight or worse case in the morning.

OK GUYS, here is the first FLICKER link, hopefully it works for everyone.

These are our personal vacation photos. The first round are of Victoria Point and Downtown Brisbane.

More photos to come.

John is not wearing a hat, and in one of the pictures he is standing with Bob's longtime friend Mike, who was gracious enough to take us on a city tour on a Seacat boat.

Second set of photos.

The lead picture was taken at a party on Russel Island, the lady in the middle is a Polish migrant to Australia, and an awesome painter, her name is Kinga. I am on the left, John(Hillbilly Atheist) is on the right.

Scrolling down, you can see two guys playfully trying to strangle each other. I am on the left, the guy in the red jacket is Will, husband of Debra, our late friend Bob's sister. John is the guy wearing the cowboy hat.

Ah...at long last. Very good, very good.

I shall peruse now.

Questions:

Is that arched walkway in the first set of pics at the Wheel of Brisbane?

What's lovely black and white bird perched next to the little red can with 38 on it in the second set?

How was the beer? (I think it was)

The arched walkway is downtown. The vines in the summer are full of flowers and cover it so much so it it becomes a garden tunnel you walk under.

"Brisbane Wheel" is a Ferris wheel, like every major city in the world has. I am afraid of heights so John took a ride by himself. He took pictures on that ride. One is looking down at a mostly lit office building, it is the HQ for Australia TV or "ABC" not to be confused with America's network, but "Australia Broadcasting Company."

The black and white bird on the picnic table is a Magpie I think, they are very aggressive in wanting food. The "38" is the table number at a burger joint, BEST FUCKING BURGER JOINT in the world to me, it is called "Grill'd and it is in Victoria Point. Pro tip, if you ever go there, keep an eye on your food. Those hoodlum birds will steal your food if you are not looking.

If you are talking about the neon blue "arms" those are construction cranes extending from the buildings the construction is working on.
