Heh, even the right wing here in Portugal would be socialist by US standarts. I think socialism would take a very long time to ever be implemented in the US. Example: a simple system like a national health system is just hard to even beging to think about one, there. Heh, over here its not perfect, but its better than nothing.. For instance, deaf people only have free coclear implants to one side, the other side they pay with 50% state sponsorship. Its hard because Portugal is not big on oil or resources, but maneageble. Now inagine that vast country with so much to give resource wise. Where is that money going?
