Good to see you don't have cancer! I grew up in southern California but I don't think I ever got this.

It is called Valley Fever after the Imperial Valley. I have heard that most people in the SW get it at least once. Bronchitis symptoms. Some get scarring. I knew someone who died from it.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!
