I was just listening to Red Eye Radio. They were talking about how the majority of Americans support Trump and his latest racist tweet. Do these people even listen to themselves? Like what the fuck?! How is it these people can simply make up shit and believe it? I get it, RYR leans Right, but GOD DAMN.

Nothing happened to the GOP. It is as it has been since more or less since 1992. It just happen to have acquired a leader who didn’t bother pretending it was something else.
The majority of Americans support Trump and his latest racist tweet? Have you seen the average presidential approval rating recently? Thankfully the majority of them don't support Donald Trump*, even if it's just "I oppose Trump, because bad stuff" (and they only care about social issues don't have an understanding of the economic situation that got him elected).

No, that's what they believe. They believe that the majority of Americans support Trump's tweet and support Trump overall. I was just pointing out how those who support Trump make up their own reality and ignore reality.
You have to remember that in their reality, there are fewer “Americans” and a whole hell of a lot more unpersons.
