They have nothing to compare with. "Yes, dear, that really is nine inches."
People complain that women are bad drivers.
But it's difficult to judge distances when men are constantly telling you that something the size of a pinky finger is actually 9 inches.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

If you look like him, is it really a pledge?

Yeah, just look at her eyes - she's dead inside.
But also imagine if Christian guys were pledging their virginity to their moms, and that instead of going on dates with girls, they'll stay at home and watch "Little House on the Prairie" with their moms - it already exists and it's called "being gay".

I don't understand it, either. I'd rather they have had enough experience to have fun, too.
Disappointing theists since 1968!

My experience is that if they (BOTH partners) are willing, a lot of it comes naturally enough that both have a good time. Once some of the nuances are worked out, the good times only get better. There is no such thing as bad sex, when both partners are willingly engaged.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
