Yeah...checked out the competition...quite frankly..no contest. reddit was hard to navigate around. The Dawkins forum is virtually dead and TTA (flashy but relies on Atheist Revolution blog??) claims 5,000+ members and only has 3% of the vote??

Hmmm FSM Grin

Absolutely - we have a deliciously evil mastermind and much sexier members. Big Grin

And they have proof of this?

I don't really need evidence of this, it smelled like a votebot so even if we won to me it would have been a hollow victory.

Mass voting for a laugh I can agree with, messing up a poll like this is just sad imho.

Well, the closest thing I ever came to making a bot was a robotic arm in IT class, so you can count me out.

It took me over a month to figure out how to use mIRC to chat here at home - I think it's safe to say it's not me.

I realized I joked about it on the shoutbox, but I don't have the knowledge, time or inclination to actually setup a votebot. The only reason I feel the need to post this is because Adrian informed me that atheistforums.org was disqualified because of my silly shoutbox post.

So I'm sorry for ruining the fun guys. I didn't realize that this Austin person, whoever he/she is, was so completely incompetent that he would take that shout seriously. Low hanging fruit I guess.

I'm only speaking for myself here, but I don't really mind. People should take the time to validate things they read before jumping to conclusions.

So - if that's true, and it wasn't a bot...how many of those votes were legit, and how many were us "re-voting"? I can't imagine we have enough of us to make that huge of a difference - so did we have a bunch of visitors say "fuck yeah, that place is great!"?

If that were true there wouldn't be a theist in the world.
