Tell us you don't believe in the laws of gravity. We'll be at the bottom looking up.

Hawking did not prove that the universe is 14 billion years old and that there was a beginning
Turok has not proved that the universe is cyclical
it's all pro-Christian and pro-Buddhist philosophy

Biologists have not proven that abiogenesis is true or biogenesis

Darwin and his evolution can be refuted if they find a rabbit in Precambrian

etc

At trillby due the borrow-groves which gire and gimble fromb the wabe.

Coffee

'Twas brillig and the slithy toves,
did gyre and gimbel in the wabe,
all mimsy were the boregoves,
and the mome-rathes out grabe

"’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
      And the mome raths outgrabe."

Well, I missed a spelling here and there but that is the bit, the cheshire cat sings in the animated version so I can never forget it.

Have you read the short story? Both short stories?

"Mimsy were the Borogroves" was done in the '40s, IIRC. "The Last Mimzy" was a movie rather than a short story. Sorry about that. The movie was inspired by the short story but isn't a recapitulation of it.

I loved the last Mimzy! That was a good movie and I work for Intel so that was funny.

What you don't believe doesn't change what is true.

You know there's an actual photograph of a big bang (early universe) so you also don't believe your eyes.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
