LOL, they cleaned that picture up somewhere along the line. The guys who pulled the bodies off the carts used a billhook, a long pole with a hook on the end, and snagged the bodies under the chin to drag them to the graves. If the body was too old and the head came off, they could hook the rib cage.

You don't want to know how I know this.

What I'd like is to discuss the difference between "surviving" and "survival". Simply surviving isn't a survival trait. Survival traits give one an advantage.
