As many know, I lost my mother 3 years ago. I miss her so much. Tell your mothers how much you love them.

Happy Mother's Day Mitochondrial Eve!

That's more like a grandmother or something like few thousandths grandmother.

This would be something like our 35th million grandmother (if you kept saying "grand grand grand" 35 million times)

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

mitochondrial eve ,she is a common mistake that creationists make , they assume there was one woman what science actually says.. is that she is one common ancestor for us all not that there were no other women around.

Interesting days these are.

A gift bag from my older daughter contained (among other things) a gourmet chocolate bar and two bottles of antibacterial hand soap.
