Why won't God heal amputees?

Yeah, magic book exists.
There's this line in there...can't remember who said it, goes something like "I never knew you". What kind of person do you think the narrator was referring to? As good a time as any to return to the thread topic, since the guy who said that didn't seem to think there was any issue with healing amputees. It's hard to imagine that that guy, whoever he was, had the ideological disagreement with basic decency that you do. Too busy putting ears back on, iirc.

Do you think that these last few pages of dissent against the common decency of healing an amputee is in magic book, or your own mind?
Are you angry, having you been taking any drugs? How certain are you that your statements and opinions in this thread match up to the opinions of a wandering miracle dispenser who shambled around judea healing every ailment under the sun, up to and including amputation?

Now, just to make sure I have this right, is it drugs and anger, or stupidity and deceit? Why choose right! So, when the godman in the magic book went around healing people, did you think to yourself "what an asshole, doesn't he know that he shouldn't be doing that!"....? Was he angry? Was he on drugs? Was he stupid? Was he a liar?
