Boru despite what you want to think, there is a life outside this website.
You do know that in human history, independently and long before modern media, humans came up with constellations, patterns in the sky, without any connection with each other.
I did not learn about Leni from you. I learned about her years ago from watching WW2 documentaries.
Ok.

Oh yeah, let a guy with Trump's photo explain it to you.
But it's somewhat understandable to pull off "Gone With The Wind" as well as shows with black faces, at the moment because there are riots on the streets and people are sensitive about these things at the present, but that doesn't mean "Gone With The Wind" won't be aired sometime in the near future. Although those shows with black faces I'm not sure.
I mean after 9/11 happened I remember White House issued whole list of movies and songs for stations not to play.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I’m not at all convinced that diddling with an 80 year old film is going to do a lot to foster better race relations. It’s kind of like not showing ‘The Gold Rush’ because a modern-day prospector starves to death.

I'm not saying it's wrong to watch these kind of movies but imagine if you were the owner of TV station and you decide to air "Birth of a Nation" while people are rioting outside your office against racism - would you not be a bit concerned for your safety?

'Gone With the Wind' is a fictional account based loosely on real events that captures (albeit not totally accurately) a period in time. I think the slippery of slope of censorship is not one we want to go down.
Any company that decides not to air certain things can certainly do so as long as we aren't talking about trying prevent it's viewing on all outlets. If you can't watch a certain movie on HBO but it is still available on HULU or Netflix then so be it.
I got my butt kicked by a few people who didn't think I should have read the un-PC original versions of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn to my son. I used certain dialogue as teaching moments.
