Why?

The same reasons that we restrict access to any other content like it.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I'm going to just keep repeating that you're talking about a piece of fiction until you explain to me why a fictional character saying that something is true in a fictional reality has any impact on morality in our actual real reality.
Because it affects people's attitudes at the past. Mein Kampf was fictional but the book had a impact on the Germans. I'll repeat this until you understand that you don't understand.

That's an answer to why we do it. It's not an answer to why we *should* do it. It seems that you've hopped over the is-ought gap there.

Meh, you should probably make a single thread if you really want to dive into something like that. It will work better than plastering it across every thread on the boards.

Did fictional characters make the movie?
Or was it real people with a message to tell?
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Movies can be made to send a message. "Triumph of the Will", for example.

This is the first time I've mentioned the is-ought gap so how is that 'plastering it across every thread on the boards'?

I'll bicker with you in the thread you make.

So you're not going to retract your claim that I plastered X across the boards when this is the first time I mentioned X?

Also, it's not for you to tell me what thread I am to make. I'm addressing different topics here. I'm just doing it from my POV.
