Someone can set up the thread and I'll trot on over there whenever it's my turn. theVoid: I don't have time to draw up a response at the moment but it'll be something I can do later today, though we move this to a more formal debate where we can reorganize our arguements, then I'll just move the discussion there. I do want to say that the broken link you found isn't broken here, so I'm guessing that it's a aussie-US server thing that you can't reach. I honestly looked and looked hard to find that paper elsewhere, but I couldn't find one that didn't lead me back to that link (which charges you to download the paper.) What it is is an internal Citigroup paper that basically explains that they want to remake the US into a plutonomy, but the only point stopping that would be the right of every American of an equal vote. It was leaked back in 2005. You might be able to find it on a google search at home like I did. Otherwise, I might try to find another link because I'm interested in getting a copy on PDF anyway (for free, because I'm not a sucker.) EDIT: Well, maybe not later today, as it turns out, but perhaps tomorrow.
If today you can take a thing like evolution and make it a crime to teach in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools and next year you can make it a crime to teach it to the hustings or in the church. At the next session you may ban books and the newspapers...
