Necroposting
Do you think posting on a thread that is over a year dormant is a douchebag move?

If not - we can talk about again in a year or so..

Depends on the thread.

RE: Necroposting
There's probably an ABBA thread or twelve that would result in the infliction of great bodily injury if necroposted.

The ultimate "necroposting" is every ancient mythology/religion worldwide that people worldwide claim is still valid today.

Can one argue that there are motifs of compassion/kindness/justice/heroism in every religious tradition.  ABSOLUTELY, there is not one religion in the world that doesn't make those claims.

But the populations of Ancient Egypt, Ancient China, Ancient Rome, Ancient India, Ancient Iran or Saudi Arabia, or Ancient Europe, none of them worldwide, could have known how more related our species really is.

To complain about "necroposting" in a world where humans still kill each other stupidly over old mythology.

If I reacted the same way Jews and Muslims and Christians have over your reactions to my posting ABBA videos, tell me, seriously. would you find any real violence justified? Don't worry, I could care less what posters think of my musical taste or my poetry.

MY POINT is, that humans still, and unfortunately fight over old superstitions.

But we are evolving.....

The "New Gods" aren't as violent. (r/l)

You still see churches, temples an mosques blowing up -

But not COMICON or comic book stores....

So there's hope..
