[Serious] Why defecation?

RE: Why defecation?
It's not a pollutant.  It's fertilizer.  People using it wrongly is on them.  Use the poop.  Embrace the poop.  Be the poop.

In an efficiently designed system, you wouldn’t need fertilizer. In fact, it’s a mark of inefficiency that plants need animal poo to grow.

Could've just as well created creatures using some form of atomic fusion as an energy source, given the right fundamental constants of nature. A better question is, why stars though?

I don't claim the system is designed by a being.  I'm saying there are uses for various byproducts that we can design around.  I built controls and instrumentation for closed loop aquaponics systems years ago.  So I have a different perspective on poop.

Your objection is like saying, why do we need to breathe?  Why do we get old?  Seems trivial to discuss in this way.  We have established that if there is a god, he's a royal fuckup.

In Midnight at the Well of Souls there's a race that is basically an intelligent plant. They root at night and need at least an hour of sunshine each day to stay healthy. If Jack Chalker and think up a better system than we have now I'm at a loss as to why a god couldn't do it.

Why place the shit and piss functions so close to the reproductive functions? God should have known that would be confusing for some and tempting to others.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

A comedienne (I disremember who) phrased that as, ‘Of COURSE God is a man. No woman would build a toxic waste dump right next to a recreation area.’
