You ever had pickled pigs feet?

I mailed a jar of that to South Africa a while back, along with a bunch of other USian oddities. Bloke broke them out for an office party and his boss nearly fired him. He counted that as a win. Panic

Pig’s feet are awesome, but we can’t get them here. Had them all the time growing up.

I prefer them corned and fried to pickled, though.

I used to by an occasional jar of Roger's Pickled Pig's Feet when I was in college. They were good, but I found them a bit too gristly and there wasn't enough meat on them. I switched to Roger's Pickled Lamb's Tongues and they were my favorite pickled meat until about twenty years ago. Roger's no longer makes them and the local supermarkets don't carry them in other brands.  Dodgy

Never tried pigs feet.

There are some things I won't eat, like organ meat.

(There's only one organ worth eating, right girls? That's right, the hearts of our enemies!)

I only ate Armour band trotters. Never had a gristle issue with them.

And the Valk has the essentials right.

I can't say it's a favorite meat substitute, but I was impressed with Burger King's Impossible Whopper. The patty is made from flavored vegetable material. I tried a couple of them several months ago and found them quite delicious, although I must say that they tasted more like roasted pork than beef. They were a bit pricey when first introduced, but I think they cost the same as an original Whopper now.  Hungry
