Devolution
When you think about it why does this word even exists because devolution doesn't exist? Every evolution is evolution. Nothing evolves to be worse, but to be adjusted better to the environment.

My guess is that devolution is something used by pseudoscience.

Or maybe it's some archaic term?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

It's something coined by a punk band from Akron Ohio in the late 1970's....

‘Devolution’ is a perfectly acceptable word, it just doesn’t apply to evolutionary biology. It’s most often used in governments when certain powers and abilities are moved from a national level to a provincial level. Essentially, this is what happened when Northern Ireland was permitted to form its own parliament - some power and authority was ‘devolved’ from Westminster to Belfast.

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Alcohol is the only reason I don't (immediately) go insane. It's a slalom down the mountain, missing all the markers.
