Netflix and "Cuties" = child pron?
#21
RE: Netflix and "Cuties" = child pron?
I have not seen the movie, and the clips of it that were aired that I have seen left me with an impression that 7 to 10 yr-old girls were being sexualized, which disturbed me, as I have a major problem with that. Even so, as it was presented, it may be a wrong impression. The controversy did not help, as it steered me away from watching it. I also think that the title of the film did not help either. "Cuties" is a word that has many connotations, depending how it is used. A puppy can be said to be cute. A dimpled baby can also be said to be cute. A 20 yr old adult woman can be labeled a "cutie', and depending whether she is dressed in casual attire or in a bikini, the context of her cuteness can be either "cute as a button" or "Hellooo Nurse!/Hey there good looking!" sexualized cuteness. Perhaps a better film title and film poster (as a previous example was given) would have promoted the director's original point and vision better.

Oh, one more thing I have to say. Ted Cruz can go **** himself, the damn Dominionist sack of crap that he is.

*Which by all accounts I've read is simply a not very good film which garbles an important message.

Sexualization of children is a thing. A film ABOUT the sexualization of children is nothing to get in a twist over.

We’ve all seen films with rape, torture, murder and abuse as the subject matter. How is this different?

Tangentially, I’d be willing to wager that if the Obamas hadn’t signed a development deal with Netflix, people on the right wouldn’t give two shits about ‘Cuties’.

No, a decent film about "how bad and evil rape is" is so different from "a woman protagonist with a rape fetish and gangbang lust".
French culture is infamous with pedophilia and child porn. Remember  the movie "Leon: The Professional" ?

Just like the Japanese pedophilia hentai magazines.

I love Leon: The Professional and even keeping recent revelations about Luc Besson’s sex life in mind, I always saw that aspect of Mathilde’s character as a sign of her being, well, fucked up. The fact that Leon is written in such a way that it wouldn’t even occur to him to reciprocate her advances (except for the kissing scene) certainly helps.

Says the man whose religion was invented by a paedophile and is based around paedophilic misogyny.

I'd remove the plank from your own eye before offereing to remove the specks of dust from the eyes of others, if I were you. But then again your whole mindset is 'muslim good, not muslim evil', so you can't acknowledge the evil in your religion.

A tu quoque fallacy will not help in decriminalizing pedophiles around the globe.
The French movies industry contains pedophilia just like the Islamic Hadith contains pedophilia.

But the topic is about a French pedophilia production; so stick to the OP please.

Neither ‘Cuties’ nor ‘Léon’ is paedophillic in nature.

Why would you want help in decriminalizing paedophilia?

You’re a sick fuck.

Yes your post was that. Again, why are you so against French non-paedophilia?

Who made you the boss of this thread that you didn't even start?

Did someone tell you that you are in charge?  If the voices in your head did, they are lying.

A tu quoque fallacy is not to be tolerated in a respectful discussion; the topic Eleven opened was about pedophilia in the movie "Cuties"; the one hearing voices is the one who brings Islam into a topic about a French movie.
