Trump is filing lawsuits all over the place.  This is going to drag on for a while longer.

Yes they are, because 40 years of GOP gerrymandering and always having a slight enough majority in each state, the GOP has relied on absentee for decades. They never figured on Democrats competing with their ace up their sleeve.

And it isn't news media that counts the votes, the poll workers do. It simply pisses off the GOP that they can't sell media as the legal officials. That was Trump's tactic this time.  Monday and prior Trump was screaming that counting votes after Tuesday was cheating, but now the asshole wants a recount.

The truth has always been, that votes are never certified on election night.

Folks here, in the olden days, would praise and worship and sing various land & coastal-related (yes, unironically) psalms while rowing their little wooden boats between the isles; and drop that shit like a hot potato after reaching shore and securing the boat on land, and go and curse god for all the good men lost at sea.
