[Serious] SERIOUS POST, Hillbilly Atheist has COVID.

Just got a call from my best friend John, the guy I met along with Bob, from Australia, back in the early 2000s. 

He just informed me he got tested and confirmed with COVID. Right now at this moment he says he is fine, other than congestion and lack of smell. But he is not going back to work. I am deeply concerned. I hope he doesn't get worse. But we all know this virus is no joke.

Bob lived in Australia, he died years ago. John(Hillbilly Atheist) lives in Oklahoma and he is still alive. We met around the same time in the early 2000s.

John really means the world to me. He got me through Bob's death and my mother's death. 

I seriously am besides myself right now. I am hoping the odds are this is simply a small volume he can handle.

I don't wish COVID on anyone.  Right now I am still in the position of not having anyone close to me having it, or worse, losing someone from it.  But I do have some dear friends who have lost loved ones. (My brother and his son - they of the it's a hoax cult had mild cases and recovered.)

As someone who has dealt with severe illness I know how awful it is and I don't ever wish that on others.

He (Hillbilly A) is a nice enough guy when he pops in here.  Hopefully he can shake it off with no lasting effects.

Yes he is. And every fiber of my being agrees, that he can hopefully shake this off. The world is a better place with HB in it.
