There were a LOT of people with birthdays supposedly on 1/1 on TTA. It must be the default of people don't put anything in that field.

When I was younger I remember that the first baby born in our town on 1-1 got all kinds of prizes.

Do towns still do that?

My youngest niece is a New Year's Baby for Anderson, Indiana, population ~60,000. BIL unemployed, Sis working as nurse's aide. Mooching off my parents.
