Oh, yeah, the peaceful protest where they not only chanted “hang Mike Pence,” they even BUILT A FUNCTIONAL GALLOWS ON-SITE.

2. Height of noose off floor - about 3 foot.
You might be able to hang a midgett - but he could probably get by standing on his toes.....
If he didn't resist or kick too much - the crossbeam supporting the rope doesn' t appear to be very solidly mounted on the uprights...

It was obviously a symbol of intent if nothing else.

I'd have to do some more research, but my current understanding is the person holding the door open for protesters was recently in court. He wasn't a police officer and he interfered with the officer who was trying to close the door. In other words, he was breaking the law and physically obstructing law enforcement.
