Oh - and - I AWAYS side with the cops..

.....

Yeah... You're a new species.

Homo Janusrectoris.

A bipedal humanoid that can talk out both sides of it's ass at the same time.....

And your species name would be

"Gunfuckious, hornyous, obsessove"

An idiot who thinks guns are living things and deserve more rights than people who don't want to have their brains blown out.

Nobody ever thought any such thing and you prove yourself to be a overemotional dipshit for even suggesting it. In fact it makes you sound like a hysterical teenager.

Yes, it is so much fun having grade schools, and churches, and movie theaters and bars and concerts shot up week after week.

I have a HS yearbook with a picture of the 1984 McDonald's massacre in it.

Please do tell me two things?

#1, Why is America #1 in firearm violence?

#2,  How many firearms flooding America's streets would be good stopping point? 1 billion firearms, 5 billion firearms, 20 billion firearms?

I could care less how you characterize my responses. But the truth remains regardless. So all you seem to be interested is protecting your own ego and not problem solving.

I am not your enemy. I am simply sick of seeing rinse and repeat.

40 billion would be great - if I get a percentage.

I actually don't mind him doing that. It is a very important issue. I simply don't think he understands how wrong he is.

If we take this to a global scale, humans are tribal, and humans use weapons to defend their positions. But what humans don't do enough is realize we are the same species.

The OP wasn't about guns, or gun proponents.  Your first reply brought it up, at least where I saw.  I didn't think Brian was necessarily going there with his OP, though if poked, he will give a predictable response.

The OP was about the news that generals discussed how they would reduce the chances of a military coup.  No "Bob's militia" is going to stop that, and most of them would be cheering on the coup, not thinking that one day they might be on a different side than the dictator.

The rambling OP was about resisting a dictatorial government. Brian has in the past ridiculed armed citizens as unable to check a runaway government.

He thinks he is going to talk them into doing things his way.

Sure...

That will happen.

I tried - I really, REALLY tried - to make the point that citizen involvement in politics is crucial to the survival of a democratic system of government. I thought - I really, REALLY thought - that was a salient point.

I was wrong. This is clearly another gun thread. My badski.

No you are absolutely correct. It wasn't a gun thread, but regardless, firearm violence still affects far to many people on a daily basis.

OLB and the GOP for that matter, seem to think anytime they lose on any  topic, it is always because the other side is wrong and evil.
