There's already 91 vets in congress, military running for election is nothing new. The pubs went out and recruited vets to run for 2022. Check out politico.

So long as they support the US against enemies foreign and domestic, I'm OK with it. If they have their noses up the chump's ass, there is a problem.

There have been plenty of "D" former military that have served in congress in the past. Kerry Served. Pete Buttigieg is in Biden's Cabinet. Party power shifts over time, and there have always been plenty of former military that go on to serve in government, or run for office. That has always been the case and there is no party oath to serve in the military or run for office. |
