Patrick's Pub and Grill is a bar that's on the border of Georgia and Tennessee and split between the two states. The Georgia half is in a "dry county", meaning that any alcohol purchased at the bar on the Tennessee side cannot be brought to the Georgia side where the restrooms are.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Make her work for it. He has the right idea.

John Wayne was given his own island, which was named after him, off the coast of Panama to thank him for his support in returning control of the Panama Canal to Panama.

In 1962, Stan Lee had to sign an agreement with Marvel Comics against the failure of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’. The company’s position was that teenaged characters would only work as sidekicks, never as the main heroes, so Spidey wouldn’t catch on. Lee agreed that after 5 appearances by the character, he would pay any losses out of his own pocket.
Didn’t cost him a penny.

Further more, he is also the only actor to be killed by an Alien, a predator, a terminator, and a stroke after open heart surgery. After the stroke, it is not clear what he will be killed by next.

Bats in the US eat so many insects (as much as their own body weight every day) that they save farmers an estimated $22.9 billion every year on pesticides.
So there you go, instead of using pesticides, people should just build bat houses.

Related: contrary to what they told me when I was a kid, the cheetah is NOT the fastest mammal. That title goes to the Mexican free-tailed bat, which is capable of sustained horizontal flight of approximately 160 kph.

Enchanting.
