My stint was shorter and it hurt my heart to remove the flag from my house this morning.

I'll leave the flag sticker on my car - for now - while I think about it since I just put a new one on there.

I may now hang a flag on my front porch but hang it upside down

I'm in Texas - don't really want anyone shooting up the place.  I thought about a black flag and may still do that.

The sugar cookies with the buttercream middle my grandma used to make on special occasions are apparently called Susans:

People keep using veterans as reasons why the government shouldn't help other Americans, like every single vet should be housed and have a good job and the best medical care before we do anything for anyone else. I did not serve to get special treatment, and certainly not so I could be used as an excuse not to help other people. Vets could already be housed and employed if we had the political will to do it; so vets first really means never.

The rapper Logic’s real name is Sir Robert Bryson Hall II. And, yes, “Sir” is legally part of his name. He didn’t get honours from the Royal Family, his mother just added the name “Sir” onto his birth certificate when he was born.

King Charles needs help to brush his teeth.

Quote:Prince of Wales “likes to have someone squeeze exactly one inch of toothpaste onto his toothbrush for him ahead of his bedtime routine.”

“But it doesn’t end there,” the author writes. “The cherry on top of this ridiculous extravagance: the toothpaste must come from a ‘crested silver dispenser.'”

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Having a flunky squeeze toothpaste out of a silver holder is one of less offensive things about the Royals.

I'm surprised he brushes his own teeth, don't want to think about his ass care.
