What does "-inspired" mean? NB- I don't watch many movies or much TV, so I'm pretty much uninformed on a lot of this stuff.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

You can use an infrared thermometer to determine your pan temperature before adding your fat. I thought you needed one of those expensive surface temp thermometers, but this will work just as well for only $15. This opens up a whole range of options for cooking different things.

Its not only about temperature, also about the ability to keep it (constant), once food is in. Thats why grandmas massive iron cast pans were better than modern Aluminium ones.

Yeah, that's why I use stainless steel. Better heat retention than nonstick, but not as heavy as cast-iron or carbon steel.
Turns out that owls can fucking kill you. Or worse: frame you for your wife’s murder.
And, yes, the case of Michael Peterson is that bizarre that a random owl attack makes as much sense as any other explanation.
