A pound of 80/20 ground beef yields about 10-11 ounces of usable meat after browning and draining the fat.

Actor Anthony Steward Head, of Buffy and other shows, is the brother of Murray Head who had a hit with "One Night In Bangkok".

Yet another entry into my personal Pantheon Of Heroes.
Charles Jean Rigoulot (1903-1962) was a Frenchman with a varied career. He - -Won the 1924 Olympic gold medal for weightlifting in his division and held 8 world records in the sport. -Worked as a professional wrestler. -Had a small, but well received, career as a singer and actor in French theatre. -Competed in the 1937 Le Mans auto race. And the kicker -During WWII, he was jailed for hitting a Nazi officer. He and several other prisoners escaped when Rigoulot bent the bars of his cell. On their way out of the prison, he stopped long enough to beat the Nazi guard who had locked him up. He managed to stay on the run and elude capture for the rest of the war. Badass. Boru

So, I've spent the last three years assuming that Logan Paul was most likely insane (and I mean that in the legal sense). And today, I found out that he actually has brain damage:
He apparently had a brain injury in the seventh grade and was also a linebacker, which could not have helped his brain. I'm not sure about the supplements Dr. Amen gave him or the 80 hours in the chamber, but I suspect that, if it's really related to his football career (even high school footballers have developed CTE) and his brain injuries are truly responsible for his jackasstic behaviour, given that he's currently 25, I can't imagine that the future's going to be bright for him. And note: the only reason I learned about this was because Airplane Mode is going to be in the Deep Hurting Project, and thus, the question of what the fuck his deal even was took on a new urgency.
