Stupid things religious people say
RE: Stupid things religious people say
What is in the heart of some christians and their god?
Well, at least some people are honest and tell us what is on their mind.

Also, notice the room full of people who follow Steven Anderson.

Quote:Anderson, who is known for his rigorous Independent Fundamentalist Baptist theology, hatred of Calvinism, the infamous "pisseth on a wall clip", and open glee at the thought of homosexuals being killed, at one point had the dubious distinction of being banned from 34 countries, including every English-speaking developed country.

But there isn't anything in the Bible that says that you must prevent a death by implementing state level or federal level or global level laws.
There isn't anything about abortions in the Bible, nothing about storing semen with cryogenics, nothing about storing or destroying fertilized eggs with cryogenics.

There is just a line that says "do not murder".
Do not murder who? It doesn't tell us.
Old magic book tells us that gods solution to a jealous husband worrying that his wife-property is fucking the neighbor is an abortion..his discretion, ofc. I'll never tire of pointing this out to forced birthers - especially since the forced birthers and christianists in general are notorious cucks..demographically speaking.

In context, it means ‘Adult male Hebrews must not kill other adult male Hebrews without a damned good reason. Hebrew women, Hebrew children, heathens of any age or gender? Fair game.’

and not just fair game, sometimes, you have to kill them. It's your god given duty - and if you don't kill them all, gods gonna cut you down.

Quote:Why are Christians calling for a boycott of Coca-Cola over 'Jesus' custom cans?

A video showing a Coca-Cola machine refusing to print the name “Jesus” on a custom soda can has sparked outrage among some Christian consumers, leading to calls for a boycott of the beverage giant. According to Daily Dot, the online drama began with a Facebook post by Antwoine Hill, who demonstrated at a Coca-Cola store how he could write the names of various religious figures, including “Allah” and “Satan,” but not “Jesus.” When attempting to print “Jesus,” Hill received an error message showing, “Sadly, we cannot automatically allow this text on the can!”.

Hill's video prompted hundreds of comments, with many users vowing to stop purchasing Coca-Cola products. One woman declared, “We need to STOP buying coke!!! I’m done,” while another urged fellow Christians to avoid Coke products, stating, “The only language corporations understand is money.”
The controversy also gained traction on X, where influencers encouraged Christians to withdraw their support for Coca-Cola.

It is a bit similar to the case of christians who ask for Starbucks to write Merry Christmas on their coffee cups.
When they did write it, the christians were very happy that they won.

So where are these machines?

Don't you just miss being a Christian so you can spend your time doing something useful like this:

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Kinda funny, in a fucked up way, that paedophilia has become so common within the various churches, that it is the first thing christers assume.

This is a news article on the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Channel).
This is a 2SLGBTQ+ vs anti-2SLGBTQ issue.
It doesn’t say if the dude is a christian but over the years of reading CBC news, I get the impression that if the offender is doing it for christian reasons or muslim reasons, the news article will not mention it.
If it is a race issue, a white guy shoots a black guy, the article will not mention the motivation for the shooting.
If someone has killed a lot of native american women and if he is caught, all facts are mentioned except for the motivation of the killer.

I read the article @ https://ca.news.yahoo.com/man-posted-sel...56850.html

This is a very short version of the original article:

Quote:Friday, Oct 04, 2024

A London Ontario man named Bubba Pollock. He is described as an “activist who's protested against drag queens and drag storytimes”.
He was having arguments online with a woman named Britt Leroux about LGBT rights.

The court heard Pollock learned the location of Leroux's elderly, cancer-stricken father, Andre Leroux, who was undergoing palliative care at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare.
Pollock then drove from London to Windsor, entered the hospital and gained access to Andre's room, where he took a photo of himself smiling while the patient was unconscious in the background.
The selfie pic was posted in a Facebook comment thread visible to Britt — to her shock and dismay.
The selfie image that Pollock took and posted in the hospital room of Andre Leroux, father of Britt, at the Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare campus on June 14, 2023.

Bubba Pollock was given 2 months jail time.
Part of Pollock's probation order is that he must avoid all contact with Britt and her family, and keep at least 100 m distance from her at all times.
He was also handed three years of probation, which includes a 12-month ban from social media use.
