Comic Fern Brady’s poster banned for upsetting Christians



A poster depicting the comedian Fern Brady as the Virgin Mary squirting breast milk into the mouth of a kneeling man dressed in ecclesiastical clothing has been banned over fears it could offend Christians.

The decision by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has been likened by critics to an attempt to reintroduce blasphemy laws in the UK.

The West Lothian-born broadcaster and author is touring her stand-up show I Gave You Milk to Drink at venues in the UK and Iceland.

What Option for Christians in a Pagan America?

The thesis of his book is fascinating. The young Catholic author says America is heading toward paganism. It will have grave consequences.

He has no illusions about what this means. Paganism is not some politically correct Hollywood depictions of primitive peoples or noble savages. It is that state of humanity where there are no restrictions and taboos. All kinds of cruelty and barbarity are allowed. It will turn citizens into slaves. It leads to rituals, persecutions, and Satanism. Indeed, it will create a Hell on earth.

Above all, his examples show how paganism will seek to eradicate Christianity and especially the Catholic Church. It will seek to re-impose the pagan horrors of human sacrifice, idol worship, and superstition.

Indeed, the author reports that those working on AI “openly talk of ‘building god’ or ‘creating god,’ harnessing god-like powers to transcend the limits of mere humanity.”

Modern methods also assist in crushing resistance to the coming neo-paganism. The author claims that the new post-Christian neopagan ethos “will usher in state-sponsored religious persecution on a scale not seen since the Diocletianic Persecution of the early fourth century.”

Thus, Mr. Davidson analyzes one by one all the influences that are pushing America toward paganism—abortion, euthanasia, transgenderism, Satanism, AI, and the pagan state.

He sees abortion and euthanasia as manifestations of human sacrifice. Postmodern witchcraft and Satanism are the equivalent of pagan religious cults. He even documents cases of the appearance of demon-like spirits in today’s nascent AI.

The author is brave. He does not mince words or try to sugarcoat the coming neo-paganism. He has no illusions about what will happen when the shell of the moral teaching of the Catholic Church and what remains of Western Christian civilization fall. It will bring about the destruction of the West, persecution of Christians, and even martyrdom.

In true christian fashion he manages to talk around a thing that is very much happening.  In that christianity failed over decades on the main planks of a broad neo-pagan moral community it left seekers..mostly within the christian faith, heading out for alternatives.  By the 90's there was a demographic boom, overt paganism being the fastest growing religion in the us, and since then it's remained at the top as culture shifts away from the moral order of christianity as it existed and became codified as a counter-revolutionary ideology from and in the form it then existed through the 50's to the 70's.  Christianity did attempt in the 80/90s to cash in on this growth market (the aborted stewardship movement comes to mind especially, as they blipped back up at the rnc this year, likely the now grown children from that subculture) but it was poorly positioned compared to the alternatives above-mentioned seekers had already normalized.  In a broader view, and understanding that paganism (like all religions) is not just or even most importantly a specific pantheon or holy writ - we could observe that the us is right now a majority christo-pagan society and particularly from a christian traditionalists pov our social aims expressed by our governance are more in line with that nascent worldview than the defunct christian worldview of the past.  Cultural infiltration works both ways.
