The CDC says that not only do school age students not need to be vaccinated, but the unvaccinated students also should not worry about social distancing, and they should not go into isolation or quarantine after coming into contact with someone with the virus. You are far too generous in your assessment. The mandate itself isn’t white supremacy. It’s in the fact that black people are more likely to not have the sort of access to health care that can just allow them to just get a jab. And among the more vaccine-hesitant black people, it’s in the fact that they’ve been shafted multiple times by the white supremacist power structures. It’s not that long ago that we still had black men alive who were intentionally given syphilis just because of a dubious study on syphilis.
