Covid 19 conspiracies dump
RE: Covid 19 conspiracies dump
The (study) results revealed that Covid-19 conspiracy beliefs prospectively predicted a decreased likelihood of getting tested for corona; if tested, an increased likelihood of the test coming out positive; and, an increased likelihood of having violated corona regulations, deteriorated economic outcomes (job loss; reduced income), experiences of social rejection, and decreased overall well-being. Most of these effects generalized to a broader susceptibility to conspiracy theories (i.e. conspiracy mentality).

Peter Navarro (former WH advisor) wants to strap Dr. Fauci into a chair, make him confess his crimes, indict him, begin civil suits, and strip him of all his wealth for being a Frankenstein.

An 8th grader in Ventura, CA told his mom after school that she had been lying to him, Trump was still president, and he was never getting vaccinated after his teacher went on a rant about Hunter Biden, election fraud, and vaccine conspiracies in class. The teacher is still teaching.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I've lost all respect, not that I had much to begin with.

Aaron Rodgers’ COVID vaccine explanations are a collection of Joe Rogan and Facebook comments: https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2021/11/5/2...ivermectin

Barn door/horse, to little to late. Pathetic.

Actually, it looks like all that teacher's classes have been re-assigned a new teacher, so they're technically not still teaching, but they still seem to be employed at the school.

The weird thing is, shit like this doesn't surprise me. Not because the mainstream beliefs of the right have moved so far off the grid in the past couple years, but because when I went to school, I had a teacher who would go on about how bad abortion is, even if she was supposed to be teaching algebra.

Also, some of the shit she talked about was wild, like how Hunter Biden's got CP on his laptop and is fucking his niece, or that if a baby is born to an antivaxxed mother, they won't let her keep it.

Not surprised. Now multiply  that stupidity  a few times and you'll have a pretty good idea about what  Catholic education (if you'll forgive the expression) was like up to the end of the 60's, at least. Plus of course carte blanche for teachers to beat the living crap out of their students.   Dodgy

Ah, so this isn’t the initial ivermectin study, the one that shows it is effective, but the catch is you have to take lethal amounts of it to get any effect.

Quote:Earlier this year, Tenpenny was named one of the worst known spreaders of falsehoods, myths and misleading statements about vaccines -- a group the non-profit Center for Countering Digital Hate dubbed the "Disinformation Dozen."

A separate study put her in the cadre of America's biggest anti-vaccine profiteers.

But in comments to AFP, Tenpenny stood by her claims, maintaining that she is not spreading misinformation and is simply making "a living."

From a $240 premium podcast annual membership to $165 webinars on why people "should not take the shot," health supplements and ticketed public speaking, Tenpenny runs a sprawling enterprise based on anti-vaccine activism, disdain for masks and testing, and denials that Covid-19 is real.

Oh I don't know, probably for the same reason people don't use condoms to protect from the flu.
